Over 1.5 years ago, workers at the Hermosa factory in El Salvador, which produced for brands such as Adidas, Nike and Russell, started organizing. Shortly thereafter, the factory closed its doors without paying the workers their back wages, legal severance or benefits and many of the workers were blacklisted. Nonetheless, 63 of the workers remain strongly committed to the struggle and we must support them as they pressure the brands to ensure they are paid the over $800,000 they are owed!
Take Action!
We need students across the country telling these brands and the public that their blatant disregard for labour rights will NOT be tolerated! We also need everyone to pressure their universities to cut Adidas contracts if they continue to make excuses.
